
Highlands Hot Lunch
Hot Lunch is one of Highlands’ most popular PAC fundraisers! It gives families a break from lunch-making while raising funds that directly support school programs and activities. Participation is completely optional — just order online and your child enjoys a tasty lunch on most Mondays and Fridays.
How it works
All orders are placed through Munchalunch. Create an account, add your child(ren), and order online during the open session windows.
Order Sessions
Fall Session: Opens mid-September for lunches October–January.
Winter/Spring Session: Opens mid-January for lunches February–June
Ordering details and deadlines are shared in the PAC newsletter.
Distribution
Each meal is labeled by name and delivered directly to classrooms by our amazing volunteers.
Volunteers
Hot Lunch runs entirely on parent power! We welcome new volunteers anytime — opportunities include sorting, leading, or coordinating. Watch for volunteer sign-ups in September or email the Hot Lunch team through FreshSchools.
Food & Vendors
Our vendors are carefully selected for quality, food safety, and compliance with BC’s Guidelines for Food and Beverage Sales in Schools. Menus include healthy options and cater to a variety of tastes and dietary needs.
Missing a lunch?
If your child is away, please consider the missed meal a PAC donation — leftover food is donated to local shelters whenever possible.

Every order helps fund classroom enhancements, student programs, and school events supported by the Highlands PAC.
